Sjoerd Haver is a professional conductor based in Arnhem, the Netherlands. In 2023 he was selected to participate in the Dutch Conducting Masterclass by Jorma Panula.
Currently, Sjoerd is chief conductor of the Kamerorkest Midden-Holland and Orkest van het Groene Hart. Additionally he is co-founder, artistic director and conductor of the Ensemble Project Foundation (STEP), Interim conductor at the Alkmaars Symfonie Orkest and string section coach at CREA Orchestra Amsterdam.

Sjoerd Haver has been appointed as Interim Conductor at Alkmaars Symfonie Orkest. From April 15th 2025, he will lead the ensemble in Emilie Mayer – Symphony No. 1 and Beethoven – Pianoconcerto No.3.
